Dimeric Surfactants: Advanced Solutions for Cosmetics

Dimeric surfactants are called so because their molecules consist of two connected hydrophilic and hydrophobic parts, forming a "dimer" structure. This unique design gives them superior properties compared to traditional single-chain surfactants.
Dimeric surfactants are distinguished by their exceptional physical-chemical properties. Their innovative characteristics not only boost the performance of cosmetic products but also contribute to the development of eco-friendly solutions, ensuring gentle care for the skin.
Biopolax integrates innovation into its portfolio with the development of three highly effective products based on advanced dimeric surfactants (cationic, anionic and zwitterionic versions). The unique production technology for the new dimeric surfactant, developed in our R&D laboratory, enables the creation of a highly effective ingredient at an affordable cost.
Adding a small amount (up to 1%) of Biopolax's dimeric surfactant significantly enhances the performance of traditional emulsifying agents, such as APG 12-14. Building on this innovation, we are actively developing blended products to unlock even greater formulation potential.
Dimereco seamlessly combines with all types of surfactants—anionic, nonionic, cationic, and ampholytic—making it an excellent choice for use as an emulsifier, antifoaming agent, detergent, dispersant, or hydrotropic agent.
